Our Reviewer LOVED This Song!

Light of the World CLICK to PLAY

When Rob Allwright reviewed our "Overflow" album, there were a couple of songs he really liked, especially "Light of the World". This goes WAY back to our roots as part of our 'that was then and this is now' theme. Here's what he had to say:

“...."Light of the World"...starts off with some jangly sounding guitars as the vocals talk about how it's hard to see people really loving in this world. The chorus then takes a change of music direction with just some regular percussion which holds into the next verse when suddenly a honky tonk piano is introduced in the backing. This song just builds up and keeps on giving as it reminds us to look to Jesus because we are meant to be salt and light to the world. Again this song feels like a big production in a lively musical and the sound of it really gladdens the heart! Near the end there is some piano with a lead singer that just sounds like something Keith Green might have done! The end blends vocals to the lyrics "The Light Of The World" and it just sounds fantastic. I think I would listen to that song alone on repeat, there's just so much going on!”

Do you agree with Rob? Let us know!

Peace & Love & JOY,
Mark LaJOIE!

  1. Hi Mark and Living Waters, As me being apart with this family the Light of the World song. Just being apart of the family the
song presented at early days our concerts to reach people in our audience, even all the songs that have been written with God through also the earlier cd's as post in Revernation that are also written from the artists of our Family have touched and came across to others. And I say the same for Overflow the artist have done as always wrote their songs with the Love of God was in already in the process of the songs. And along with that of Joshua Loell producing the Overflow cd and working with Blessed given artists and the whole band, we have grown so much from the great message of the older days and today still comes across of Living Waters witness/es with sharing with people of God's world. The new cd is grown to listeners around the world. The new cd also is a growth of the talent of the new arrangements, the each person in the group still work together as a family as they always have, the arrangements of the background sounds have grown also. I am just putting in my input, even though you are my family, even before then I always had a passion about songs in my life and could enjoy the song and the arrangements always inspired me in dance and with the gift from God it became one. That is my music passion then and today. That is my own opinion.
