When Sunday Comes...The Bell Tolls....
We recently got a great comment on the song from our new album, "Overflow", called "When Sunday Comes". Marian, on Number One Music, said, "“I just wanted to let you know that the 'When Sunday Comes' song was the best music I have heard in a very long time.” Wow! That's a pretty strong comment! What do you think?
At the beginning of the song, you can hear church bells ringing, calling us. As the song progresses the dissonance of the music expresses how hard it is to raise a family and have faith nowadays, with a common culture that is so against the apostolic faith. But even if we are hated or misunderstood, we will keep going to Church, to Jesus, the Source of our strength, when Sunday comes. We come together to pray for all, even our enemies and we will do good to those who harm us. Thematically, this song is very tied to the other songs on the album, especially, "Let It Reign".

"Overflow" is Released...Merry Christmas!
It has happened! The work is complete. If you've heard parts of this album already, you still have no idea. There has been a lot of work done, just in the last week or so, on virtually every song. It is now finished. This album has become something greater than its parts. Please! Listen to this! As of today, Christmas Day, it is available on our Bandcamp site and is streaming on ReverbNation.
There were big contributions by Mike McBride, Greg Loell and Mark Lajoie, and especially the talented producer, Joshua Loell (Best Film Score Winner!). Most exciting is that Dave Bourque, Tony & Denise Vassel all did their part also, especially on "Light of the World" and "Hail Mary". This album features lots of joint vocals and a large dose of a rockin' Greg Loell.
We are aiming to release the digital distribution (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc.) on January 6, the Feast of the Epiphany. That fits perfectly with the theme of the album: 'He can brighten up your darkest night...', the Light of the World, Sonrise.

"When Sunday Comes"
Brand new song from Mike! One great feature of this is that Denise is singing, making that chorus sound o! so nice. All of this guitar is Greg Loell at his best, and some expert effects and mixing from Josh. It's got a certain jazzy edge....
Thematically, this is very akin to Mike's song, "Let It Reign" AND it should fit beautifully into the album we are working on. It evokes everyday life for most of us with discordant sounds, and how we cope living our family life and expressing our faith together on Sunday.
Very soon, you will see an improved version of "When He Came Into My Life", and more summer work in the studio is coming.
